Have you ever read the ingredient list of some chocolates? No wonder many mass produced chocolate bars don’t taste like actual chocolate; they often times taste like sugar and don’t have much actual cacao/cocoa in them at all! This paleo chocolate bar is 100% cacao beans and sweetened with good old maple syrup. That’s it. 2 ingredients. Super easy and healthy.

I use Guittard’s Unsweetened Baking Bar but you can use you favorite 100% cacao bar- just be sure that it’s only ingredient is cacao beans. Maple syrup can be a bit expensive but I buy mine from Costco, which makes it much less expensive.

Use this paleo chocolate as a substitute wherever you would use baking chocolate or just as a chocolate treat! I enjoy breaking up the pieces and sprinkling them into my Paleo Chocolate Mug Cake. Seriously, this is the best chocolate mug cake that I’ve ever had and it only take 5 minutes to put together and 90 seconds to bake!! It is over-the-top decadent tasting without actually being overly decadent.

No matter how you use this delicious paleo chocolate, you are sure to enjoy!!
